  • Condition: The judgment of the condition of a pre-owned/vintage item is highly subjective. Following are observations noted upon a close examination of the tie backs to assist you in determining if the condition meets your personal requirements: Pre-owned & displayed on a contemporary poster bed. The tie backs are clean & dust free. The tassels are intact with no flaws worth mentioning. There are a few errant tassels threads that are not straight. The cords are largely intact. One cord has 2 small areas of light fraying as pictured. The twisted tassel cords are made up of multiple threads & several sections & some of the junctures are visible, but not unsightly. This is intrinsic to how they were made. There are a few tiny spots or dots, maybe 3-4, noted here & there on the cords & tassels.     Pair of Large Vintage Tassel Tie Backs - A rare find!
    These tie backs are sensational! I acquired them in an antique store almost 30 years ago. The tie backs feature substantial 10 inch long wrapped tassels. The material/thread that they are made with has a nice glowing finish. I can't swear to it, because I don't remember, but the tassels may be silk. The body/shape of the tassels was formed by coils of the twisted cording that were wrapped with thin round cords & glued into place.
    The sheer size & weight of the tassels gives them a theatrical air. Suitable for large, heavy draperies or to hang on a poster bed. Whether your decor is contemporary, traditional, or vintage, these tie backs with their large, elegant tassels will make a dramatic statement anywhere you use them!

    I work very hard to find the best shipping rate to your zip code. I use the eBay shipping calculator & pass on the discount to you. Larger/heavier items ship via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery.

    Place all of your items in your shopping cart & request a combined shipping invoice. When you submit the request you are making a commitment to purchase the items.
    OUTBOUND SHIPPING:
    I ship within 1 business day of receipt of payment, Mon. – Fri. with the exception of state & federal holidays.  I hand carry every parcel to the Post Office or shipping office to ensure that it is posted.
    DELIVERY DELAYS:
    Please be aware that the USPS is experiencing delays in delivery of some items. I do everything within my control to ensure a timely delivery of your purchase.     RETURNS:
    Please include all paperwork, bags, boxes, tags & stickers that came with the item. Items must be received in unmodified, original condition. Refunds for the purchase price are issued within 24 hours of tracking confirmation of delivery. Buyer pays all shipping.
