Trio Vintage Turkmen Hair Tassels Joghir Ethnic Adornment 10" Long (#11288)

Description

Three vintage Turkmen hair tassels, also known as a "joghir". These are traditionally worn in the hair to create not only beautiful adornment but a jingling sound to ward off the evil eye. These have embossed dangles and some flower bead connectors called, "chaprose". About 10" long. These show signs of age and use, including oxidation, surface wear, and worn patterns. You'll receive this exact trio. The metal is a gray color - neither silver nor golden in appearance. Made of a brass alloy.
